Simon MacQueen

CEO & Founder

+20 years of global experience in education industry

Expertise: Entrepreneurship, International Relations, Education, Innovation.

Industry Experience: He has dedicated his career to driving transformative change through education and fostering innovation in the business world. He has worked in a variety of fields and lived in different parts of the world, where he applied a framework of historical and global perspective to these projects. Since he acquired and expanded a school to help international students and newcomers obtain the skills necessary to adapt to and thrive in Canada’s job market, he has held leadership positions in post-secondary institutions and has led new startup initiatives with the goal of helping people and organizations thrive through the use of technology.

Education: BA in history (York University), Master’s in international relations (Seoul National University), High Performance Leadership (Cornell University), Certificate, Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen (Harvard Business School). Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy (MIT), and Executive Program, Business Process Design for Strategic Management (MIT). 

Alcely Barroso

Partner & Strategy Lead

 +20 years of global experience in technology industry

Expertise: Innovation, ESG and Corporate Social Responsibility, Education, and Agile practices.

Industry Experience: 15 years at IBM and Microsoft in leadership roles such as Corporate Citizenship Executive, Chief of Staff to the General Manager of IBM Brazil, and Global University Leader for IBM Latin America, supporting efforts to close market IT skills gaps in AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity. She built partnerships with government, businesses, and nonprofits to drive economic development and managed CSR investments and corporate volunteering programs. She also led the Future of Work committee for the Brazilian Association of Software Companies. She has been studying the impact of AI on the workforce for the last 6 years, and as a TEDx speaker, she presented the use of AI for education. She has 10 years of experience serving on the boards of nonprofits.

Education: PhD, Master’s degree in Sciences, and DDS from University of São Paulo. Postdoc on impact of AI in the society the Department of Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design at PUC SP. MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from (FIA). 

Amy Ge

Partner

Successful experience as young entrepreneur

Expertise: Entrepreneurship and Technology

Industry experience: She has an extensive background in tech entrepreneurship, management consulting, and marketing consulting. In 2020, she founded an innovative dating app featured on Global News, Breakfast Television, CP24, and in publications such as the Toronto Star, Narcity, and BlogTO. In her capacity as a management consultant, she has worked with companies such as Google, Uber, and Microsoft to craft humanistic policies that are aligned with diversity, equity, and inclusion standards of the contemporary world. She has worked in Los Angeles in the music industry as a legal consultant and marketing consultant for independent record labels and emerging recording artists, helping many songs chart on the Billboard 100. She specializes in TikTok and Instagram viral marketing.

Education: Amy Ge is a JD/MBA graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business at York University. 

Sergio Frias

Consultant

Expertise: Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Negotiation, Leadership, People Management in various industries, including aerospace, retail, manufacturing, agro, health, financial services.

Industry experience: Frias had a remarkable career in construction and aerospace industry serving as VP of large corporations such as Embraer, Bombardier and De Havilland, leading important organizational transformation in those companies. He support large corporations to improve productivity He created a successful methodology called NICE to guide enterprises with the tools they need to have better customer services.

Education: BA Civil Engineering (University of São Paulo), International Executive MBA (FIA-USP), Negotiation (Kellogg), Sales (Harvard), Innovation (MIT), Customer Experience (Disney). Certified Professional Marketer (CIMMO) and Certified Customer Experience Professional (CXPA).

Sergio Loza

Consultant

+20 years of global experience in technology industry

Expertise: Cloud architecture, DevOps, IT security, SaaS product management (ideation, design, development, pricing, customer support), sales leadership (revenue and sales management, team building). Cloud investment analysis, FinOps, and enterprise software negotiation.

Industry Experience: Launched the IBM Garage, supported large enterprises, directed consulting business, led Business Units (Cloud platform and Software), led regional Cloud Sales Businesses. Supported global enterprise clients building complex distributed applications, including IBM mainframes and Unix servers, high-transaction rate systems and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) for very large ($500 bn+ in assets) financial services organizations, IoT systems for renewable energy, manufacturing, insurance, and telecommunications companies, and BI and AI systems for telecommunications and banking industries.

Aditya Saxena

Consultant

+15 years of experience in technology and sustainability sectors

Expertise: Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Project Management, and Sustainability

Industry Experience: He has successfully led large-scale projects for global corporations in the Industrial Automation sector. As Head of IT Services at a leading technology company, he spearheaded the development of one of Asia’s first fully autonomous assembly lines. He started as a financial analyst at Evalueserve, working for RobecoSAM, a Swiss hedge fund, where he contributed to the development of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. Later, he served as Campus Director for the Hult Prize, a global student competition backed by Bill Clinton. He has also been actively engaged with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a United Nations agency, participating in various programs.

Education: BA of Engineering with a degree from the University of Bristol and multiple graduate qualifications from other institutions. He holds over 20 certifications in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Project Management, and Full Stack Development, Aditya is also an alumnus of the Founder Institute and Ryerson Venture Zone, where he has been involved in multiple sustainability-focused startups.
